We are excited to announce this new opportunity for an Executive Headteacher to take strategic and operational responsibility for our clients schools across Essex
About The Group
Their schools offer an alternative curriculum to young people with a range of SEMH special educational needs. The vast majority of our students have EHCPs and may have a diagnosis of ADHD or ASD. They also take a small number of students from the local authority inclusion service who have been, or are at risk of being, permanently excluded from mainstream settings.
Responsibilities
Play a lead role in formulating the aims and objectives of the schools and establishing the policies through which they are to be achieved.
Lead by example, holding and articulating clear values and moral purpose, and focusing on providing excellent education for all pupils.
Work closely with the Education Director to embed a culture of success within the schools.
Provide direction and line management of the senior leadership team at both schools.
Be responsible for the standards and curriculum of all pupils, including monitoring progress towards achievement.
Take central responsibility for raising the quality of teaching and learning and improving pupil outcomes.
Manage safeguarding across the schools and take action according to Keeping Children Safe in Education.
Provide curriculum leadership across the schools.
Lead regular reviews of all school systems to ensure statutory requirements are met and continuously improved.
Lead on Ofsted inspections, including independent school standards.
Manage staff development programmes and school resources.
Lead on formulating and reviewing the School Development Plan.

More About You
We are looking for an experienced Senior Leader to join our schools as an Executive Headteacher. You will play a key role in helping the schools achieve their aims and values while delivering a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum for students, with support from the leadership team.
